The Office of Procurement of Montgomery County held a training for Chinese American business owners
Abstract:On Nov 19th, the Office of Procurement of Montgomery County held a training for Chinese American business owners to demonstrate the policies and the procedure for government purchasing and answered the questions and concerns from Chinese small business owners.
On November 9th, under the coordination of Mrs. Susan Lee and invitation from Montgomery County’s Office of Procurement, the CCCAA organized about thirty Chinese-American business owners to participate in meetings held by the Montgomery County Government. During the meetings, the head officer of the Procurement Office explained the policies of purchasing from local businesses and encouraged local business owners to take part of local urban developments. He answered questions and concerns from the local business owners, and promised to build a channel encompassing local business and government.
